Color Design Seeds

Today I would like to share an idea with you for making nice color combinations. You probably all know the Color Design Seeds, I printed a booklet for myself with all my favorite design seeds. It turned out a 68 page booklet full of color inspiration, I LOVE the great pictures. First I choose which color family I would like to work with and then pick out my SU paper and inks, according this color scheme. SU has so many colors that you always come close to the design seeds colors. Then I choose my stampset and you can start playing. What I love most is that you can't go wrong as there will always balance in your project. For this card I used the Botanical Blooms stampset and Botanical Builder Framelits. For the text I used the Love You Lots stampset, which is a wonderful Hostess Set. I hope this idea is helpful to you all! Enjoy your sunny Sunday xxx

Vandaag wil ik met jullie een leuk idee delen om mooie kleur combinaties te maken! Jullie kennen waarschijnlijk allemaal wel de prachtige foto's van Design Seeds? Ik heb voor mezelf een boekje laten drukken (via de HEMA) met daarin al mijn favoriete kleur combinaties, het is een te gek boekje geworden van 68 full color foto's. Ik gebruik de Color Seeds voor het ontwerpen van mijn kaarten. Ik begin met het uitkiezen van een kleur familie. Daarna zoek ik het SU papier erbij, SU kent zoveel mooie kleuren, er komt er altijd wel eentje in de buurt van de Color Seeds. Daarna kies ik de inkt en de stempelsets erbij. Hiermee ga ik aan de slag!

Wat ik fijn vind aan werken met Color Seeds is dat je nooit 'nat' kunt gaan in je kleur keuze. Je project zal altijd in balans zijn. Voor deze kaart heb ik de Botanical Blooms stempelset gebruikt samen met de Botanical Builder Framelists. De tekst komt uit de geweldige Hostess stempel set Love You Lots.
